In re: Insider Wiking

Wikipedia, which allows anyone to edit articles, has found that a number of articles on senators, have been edited by their staff to remove items they don’t like or to vandalise other’s biographies in a few instances. Apparently most of the changes have actually been helpful, but apparently at other times senate computers have changed so much on some topics they have had to be temporarily blocked on Wikipedia. It does raise an ethics question of whether people vested in a particular person or that person itself should be writing or editing their entries, of course they have possibly great knowledge of them and can be helpful, but also exceedingly biased.
